Percento supports three levels of currency: app-level display currency, account currency, and transaction currency.

App Level Display Currency

This is your account's default currency.

All UI amounts are displayed in this currency and converted using the exchange rate if needed.

Percento doesn't expect users to change the app-level display currency often. After you change it, historical transactions might not display due to missing exchange rates.

Account Currency

This is your asset account's currency. Once an account is created, its currency cannot be changed.

Transaction Currency

When you add a transaction and the account's currency differs from the app-level display currency, Percento needs a conversion rate. The conversion rate is either automatically fetched from the server or entered by the user.
